IYRS and our marina are centrally located on Lower Thames Street in the heart of Newport, RI. We're just a short walk to restaurants, museums and entertainment. Plus, visitors can head up to the IYRS Maritime Library which is open to the public and is the only library of its kind in the state of Rhode Island. The library’s Rhode Island-focused collection includes books, plans, photographs, films, and artifacts related to our maritime heritage.
