One of the most unique waterfront venues in Newport, the beautiful IYRS Wharf overlooks Newport Harbor and the Newport Pell Bridge.

An elegant Navi-Trac Tent expertly constructed by Pranzi Rentals provides a beautiful framing for your event! The 50’X90’ tent is illuminated by Bistro Lighting, surrounded by coastal lounge furniture and seasonal planters providing the perfect backdrop for your special event in Newport.

We will assist in all of your event planning needs! From personalized packages, custom menus, florals, décor, to day-of coordination, our team will guide you in planning the event of your dreams!

Photo Shoots at IYRS

Need a stunning backdrop for your next photo shoot? IYRS rents the Wharf and Restoration Hall for photo shoots as availability permits.

Edward W. Kane and James Gubelmann IYRS Maritime Library

The IYRS Maritime Library offers an intimate setting for meetings and small presentations. Located on the 4th floor (accessible by elevator) of the John Mecray Aquidneck Mill Building on the IYRS campus, the library showcases a unique collection of maritime books, artifacts, and artwork. It can accommodate up to 25 guests for a presentation style event.
