From Finance To Pickleball: One Alum's Transformation
The Newport Daily News recently featured IYRS grad Declan Lawlor, IYRS '23, a composites technology student who originally came to IYRS with an interest in the marine trades. Through the exploration of composites, Declan discovered a passion for the sporting goods industry. Upon graduation, he launched Declan's Paddles, a carbon fiber pickleball paddle company as a "serious side hustle" in addition to his work as a financial planning analyst.
