IYRS grad in the news: Chandler Hearn's digital modeling expertise takes him to Battleship Cove

IYRS alum Chandler Hearn, '24, Digital Modeling & Fabrication, made it into the pages of the Fall River Reporter this week. Chandler custom-built and installed belaying pins on the USS Joseph P. Kennedy Jr. and created powder room bell assemblies for the USS Massachusetts, both located at Battleship Cove in Fall River, MA. The project came outo of Chandler's DMF capstone project which focused on creating historically accurate parts for battleships. The project was made possible due to the collaboration between IYRS, Fall River Arts Project, and Battleship Cove.
