Terry Hutchinson's Commencement Speech at IYRS Graduation & Launch Day 2022
We were thrilled to have American sailing legend Terry Hutchinson give the Commencement address to the IYRS Class of 2022 on June 4. Terry is the Skipper and President of Sailing Operations of New York Yacht Club AMERICAN MAGIC.
Terry Hutchinson is an eleven-time world champion in the Corel 45, J/24, TP 52, Farr 40 and IMS classes, and a winning tactician of the Louis Vuitton Cup. In 2008 and 2014, he was named Rolex Yachtsman of the Year. He has also been part of six, soon to be seven, America's Cup campaigns when he will lead the AMERICAN MAGIC campaign in Barcelona for the 37th America's Cup in 2024.
