New Students
Orientation Information
Day/Time: Wednesday, September 9 at 8:30 am.
Location: The IYRS Campus, 449 Thames Street, Newport, RI 02840.
Parking: If you chose to get an IYRS parking pass, please park in the seashell lot or under the Brooks Building. You will be given your student parking pass upon arrival. If you did not opt to get a parking pass, you will receive a temporary parking pass for the first day of school.
What to expect:
8:30am - Check In
Donuts, bagels, and coffee will be served. Financial aid staff will be on hand to answer any questions.
9am - Welcome to IYRS! Orientation program begins
12pm - Lunch with staff and faculty
1pm - Program continues including breakouts with faculty in shops.
4:30 pm - Program concludes.

IYRS Student Housing Information
Location: The Sea Whale, 150 Aquidneck Ave., Middletown, RI 02842
Move-in Date: Tuesday, September 8
Bed size: Rooms have varying configurations and bed sizes. You should have received an email from Brianna Horne that lists your bed's size.
What's included: All utilities, internet access, and vehicle parking at the residence. All rooms look out onto Easton Pond, and each has its own ensuite bathroom. The facility includes a common area, kitchenette and laundry room.
